| The 1,400-watt Shark steam blaster uses the power of steam and a wide range of tools to deep-clean surfaces all over the home or office. In addition to floors, it can be used on appliances, countertops, blinds, toilets, garden furniture, automobiles, bicycles, and artificial plants. Because it uses no detergents or chemicals, it is safe for upholstery, glass, tile, hardwood, stainless steel, marble, ceramic, vinyl, fiberglass, and mirrors. The cleaner has an easy-access, 5-cup, stainless-steel water tank that generates up to 45 minutes of powerful steam. Engineered for speedy response, the electronic control panel heats cold water to 240 degrees F in 5 to 8 minutes and features ready and power indicator lights. Accessories for the Steam Blaster include a flexible hose, an angle adapter, two extension tubes, an 11-inch floor brush, a jet tube, a circular detail brush, and a squeegee. | If you are compulsive about keeping your home (or anything else) clean, this product is GREAT! It has three attachments to complete almost any job. One is a brush for the floor, a squeegee like tool for windows and tiles, and a small brush for jobs like the oven. I primarily bought it to clean my baseboards and hardwood floors. It literally blasts the dust and dirt away. You do have to follow with a clean cloth to finish up the job, but it makes it very easy by disolving the grime. I also cleaned my oven with it, and it powers away the grease and mess with ease. The steam is super hot, and I felt like I was really able to sanitize my floors with it, which is important to me with small children crawling around. Additionally, it can be used to clean out small spaces which are normally difficult to clean, like cupholders in the car, around taps in the bathrooms etc. I think this is a great product, and well worth the money! |

I bought this "steam mop" because there were so many great reviews of the Bissell steam mop, which is no longer available. It looks like Amazon is no longer carrying this one but I was able to purchase it about a week ago from a different website.
Today is the first day I used it. I don't think I'll be throwing away my mop and bucket but I did really like it. Unlike some similar products, you use your own white towels to cover the bottom where it steams the floor. This is nice because I won't need to worry about finding specific replacements. The head also swivels and the whole stick seems fairly comfortable to use. It is not self-propelled so you will need to push and pull. This could be harder or easier, depending on the towels you choose to use. I simply bought a couple white hand towels at Sam's Club and clipped one on after folding it in half. It was still a little big, so I may cut it down to size.
I have lineoleum and it worked fine on it. It does not take off shoe scuff marks and it has some difficulty getting stuck on stuff off. My son had dropped a few smatterings of yogurt on the floor the night before and they were dried on. It took off about half of it and then I needed to scrub a little with my finger nail to get the rest up so it could finish the job.
The floor does look nice and shiny. The towel did get dirty. I think it might do a better job on tile where you are not concerned about too much heat affecting the surface texture.
The definite plus side is that does clean the floor without chemicals which is what I was looking for. If you love a pine scent, you're going to have to burn a candle instead. |

This is my first experience with a Haan product or floor steamer, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It heats up very quickly and has been a dream to clean with. I have linoleum, bamboo and tile flooring in my home and three cats. I hate using bleach and other chemicals on the floor because I don't want my family or my pets walking on it. This floor steamer is a dream come true. My floors are squeaky clean and my home smells better already. It was very fast and easy to use as I didn't have to fill the sink with water and chemicals and then clean the mop every few seconds trying to keep the water hot. This provided a continous burst of steam and I could see and feel the difference in my floors. This is worth every penny!*
My only advice is to order extra pads and use distilled water in the tank. There is a small side note in the instruction manual regarding using distilled water and I think it is a good idea to reduce build-up in the machine.
* I purchased mine through QVC and only paid $89.00 for this kit, but it only came with two pads instead of four. If you do choose to purchase this great machine, then you might want to shop around a bit. |
A must housecleaning floor cleaner

| I hate cleaning floors but with this at least I know I'm accomplishing the job rather than leaving a residue behind. Simple to pull out and do the kitchen once a week, the bathroom floors are now truely cleaned and sanitized. I highly recommend this exact floor cleaner, low profile to get under beds and cabinets. I had no issue with the length of the cord, I didn't measure it but it worked fine. Considering you use a pad for 10 minutes before replacing I move the plug then; you should definitely have 4 pads, buy the floor cleaner that comes with four not two for doing larger projects. I'm going to buy the exact same floor cleaner for my other home. |

| I love this steamer!!! My Grandma bought the Shark and after seeing it and the pump action you use, I decided to go with the Haan and boy am I glad I did. This machine is a snap to put together and a breeze to use on all my floors. It's so easy and quiet, I can even talk on the phone while walking around steaming my floors. The SI-35 design allows me to easily get under furniture...one thing to note, it is not a swivel head so you may have to do a little hand cleaning, but I don't have much of that to do. Also, just like any other cleaner you cannot get behind fixed items like a toilet or pedestal sink, so some hand cleaning is required for those spots too. Mine came with the extra pads and am glad to have these so I can do a laundry load with just these and not have to put them in with other loads or waste a lot of water just washing one or two pads. I haven't tried the carpet tray yet so unfortunately, I cannot comment on this feature. You will not be disappointed with this product. |

| It is small and light. I do have to refill and change the pad after each room, but no big deal. It took up dried on spills on the kitchen floor with slow, repeated passing no problem. It hardly leaves behind any moisture - less than the Swiffer (and safer no doubt). It is very quiet. I love it. |

| I bought this vacuum when I was 7 months pregnant. By that time my back was killing me and I dreaded mopping the floor the old fashioned way. When the Haan came, I tried it and fell in love the first time I used it. My back was not hurting any more and there was absolutely no pain or effort to "mop". I use regular tap water and it only takes the floor moments to dry. I even run it over my baseboards as well as my stove and fridge. Gets it clean in no time. I purchased this from QVC and have been extremely pleased. As an added bonus I noticed somebody else posted that they clean their carpets. I forgot that it could do that so I am excited to try that as well!! You will not be disappointed if you purchase this! |

I had searched around and researched for a while. I wanted a machine that was easy to use and I wanted one the would sanitize thoroughly. We have pets so a cleaner that could sanitize without chemicals was important to me.
I didn't buy this from Amazon because I wasn't sure if it would live up to the reviews and thought it would be expensive to return ship. Amazon though has one of the best prices.
We've been using the cleaner this past month and have been very pleased with it. A couple features I especially like about:
* it's very well constructed but lightweight.
* it's safe - it doesn't shoot hot steam out all over the place just where it's intended. I can steam the floors with the dogs standing right there.
* it's so easy to refill and then takes only 30 seconds before your steaming again.
* you can sanitize carpets - this was a huge feature and one we use regularly with dogs.
* you don't have to struggle to get the pad on the machine - in one second it's on and off and it washes well.
* it doesn't leave a trail of water after it steams.
My only con might be that I wish it had a slightly longer cord. But that's it. Really glad I waited to get this one. It's exactly what I had been looking and hoping to find. |

| I bought this steamer about a year ago off of QVC. It is wonderful! I have a child with allergies to dust mites, cats, etc. This really sanitizes and cleans well. I have hardwood floors and tile. Both came clean well. It even made old paint splatter scrap up with just my fingernail. I couldn't be more pleased. This is very easy to use. The cord is a little shorter than I would like but no big deal. It comes with the carpet adapter so I can sanitize my rugs. When I went over my rugs I could smell the cleaning products that I had put on my rugs to clean out cat urine. I hand wash the microfiber pads after letting them soak for about an hour and they come clean well. You can also machine wash and line dry. I have a lady that cleans my house and I let her try it out. She said it was the best one she had ever used. I do recommend you to get extra microfiber pads. Once they pads are used for awhile they become saturated with moisture from the steam. You will need dry pads if you just want the floors to dry quickly. |
