| The bissell spot lifter is a must have if you have cats (or kids). It does a great job on little spots like spilled juice or cat puke. I have been amazed by what this little thing will pick up. Even that nasty yellow hair ball puke. Gone! I use woolite carpet cleaner spray with mine. I spray the spot let it sit a minute and then use the bissel to wet the spot and suck up the mess. It works wonders and I don't have to measure carpet cleaner each time I use it. I have found that I can get 2 or 3 cleanings out of a recharge. I don't leave it plugged in and I haven't had any problems. I just plug it in when it starts to get low on sucking power and then I'm good for another couple weeks. I would recomend it to anyone and just bought one for a wedding shower gift. They are great! |

I love my spotlifter. I have 3 kids and a puppy that make all sorts of messes. Although the life of the battery is about 5 minutes when fully charged, it does a great job getting up any spill. Immediately after each use we plug it right back in. I even have the kids trained to clean up their own spills! It's intended use is for spots only. Hence the name "Spotlifter". Do not plan on cleaning an entire carpet with this little machine. You will be dissapointed.

| Our dogs, ages 11 years and 4 months, gave me the Spotlifter for Christmas. They obviously know their pet products -- at least when it comes to doing their business... The Spotlifter works great for me. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone. It easily soaks up nasty wet spots out of the carpet. No more disgusting ... soaked paper towels. I read the negative reviews, but have not encountered any of the described difficulties. I use it immediately after a wet accident occurs. I try to let the charge run down each time (it lasts about 5 minutes). If you have pets or mess-prone young children (or both, like me), you should get one of these. |

I am SOOOOOO glad to have received this as a gift. With 2 cats who have frequent vomiting episodes, I was constantly trying the old spray cleaner method of trying to blot up the stains with a rag, which NEVER worked to completely rid my carpet of the stain, no matter how many times I worked on it.
The Spotlifter has been such a lifesaver - not only does it cut my cleaning time in half but it has gotten out EVERY stain I've ever used it on. I am very impressed with this machine and would highly recommend it. I don't know what I did without it! |

| I bought this to clean up accidents from my new puppy, and it does a better job than I had anticipated. Based on some of the other reviews, I was a little weary about purchasing one, but now I don't understand how anyone can live witout one. It is very convenient and easy to use. The run time is about 5 minutes, which for me is more than enough time to clean up a small spill. The little brush also works the solution into the carpet to really clean deep down. The Spotlifter is worth every penny. |

| A friend recommended this to me for potty training clean-ups. I love it. We used it all of the time for that - and now use it for other spills - milk was our most recent. Just today, I got Crayola black crayon drawing out of our carpet with the SpotLifter and Bissell Little Green Formula. It has been a life-saver for our carpet and for me. I recommend it to all of my friends with young children. ;) |

| I describe this product as "one of the best Christmas presents ever!". I have owned it for the past 6 months and have been nothing but impressed. I have two small dogs and, consequently, lots of small cleanups, which is why I find the Spotlifter so convenient. I also own the Bissell Little Green, but haven't used it since I got the Spotlifter, because the Spotlifter is just so much quicker and easier to use. I read the negative reviews, and I have to say I have had none of the problems noted. It sounds like the people who are upset with the battery life are looking to do a little more than "spot lifting". For that, you will need to invest in a larger machine. But if your the type of person that is looking to clean up "life's little messes" quickly and hassle free, the Spotlifter is for you! |

This is a wonderful unit for small jobs. Small pet "accidents" are easily cleaned with this unit.
It has plenty ofpower for these small jobs and works great with good suction and nice lentration of carpet fibets of the sprayer.
It is also useful for hard floors and comes with a small rubber attachment for the nozzle that acts like a squeegie to leave a dry surface on tile and wood floors.
This is my second unit. I have had the first one for several years and I am very satisfied witht he performance and quality of this unit. Liek any battery powered device, eventually the batteries lose their ability to hold a good charge.
One hint - use it a lot and everty now and then let it run for longer than normal to discharge the battery. This willimporve the performance of the unit.
Amazon has a great price on this item, it is $10 cheaper than the first on I bought at a warehouse club 4-5 years ago.
Again, this is not for big jobs or even cleaning a 6' square rug. This is SPOT cleaner, and in that task it performs excellently. I am happy enough with the unit that I replacing my old heavily used worn out unit with with a new one.
It is well worth the price and I can;t imagine anyone being disappointed with this for it's intended use. I highly recommend it and I am buying a 2nd unit. I am very satisfied with this well made and well designed product.

| Wonderful product. I bought this the same day I purchased a puppy and it has been a lifesaver. It is so convenient. I just have it ready to go and those little messes are not such a big deal. It does a great job. I have not had the same problem with the battery as reported in the other reviews. I only use it for a minute or two at a time. When the battery seems to be running down, I leave the unit on until it runs all the way out and then recharge. I own two other Bissell products and like them all, but this is by far the best invention for convenience and price. |

| I got the Spot Lifter last Christmas and would buy it for everyone I know if I could. I don't know how I lived without it. I leave it plugged in all the time and just grab it whenever I have a spill, which with two kids, a dog, and a cat, is a lot. This machine has saved my carpet. True, it doesn't work much longer than five minutes, but cleans up a spill in about 20-30 seconds. I even use it when the kids splash water all over my counters in the bathroom! Saves my towels. This is great. If you don't have one, you don't know what you are missing!!! |
